Welcome to Ivy Cottage
Nestled in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Ivy Cottage offers a comfortable retreat in the historic village of Braemar. Our accommodation comprises a B&B with three cosy en-suite bedrooms, and two fully independent self-catering apartments.
B&BOur B&B features three comfortable bedrooms: one twin room downstairs and two super-king rooms upstairs, all en-suite. Entrance to the B&B is from Cluniebank Road, on the garden side of Ivy Cottage. You may drive up to the property via a short grassy driveway and park on-site. You are welcome to check-in at any time from 4pm. Our guest experience is fully automated, with secure key boxes and a self-service continental breakfast. B&B guests can enjoy the intimate rose garden or the spacious lounge with unlimited tea and coffee. Check-out is by 10:30am.
Guest CottageSet over two floors, the “Guest Cottage” is a spacious and fully independent apartment. The ground floor boasts a lovely sitting area complete with a cosy wood-burning stove, a kitchenette, and a convenient shower room. Upstairs, a snug bedroom awaits with a luxurious super-king bed.
BothyPerfect for a couple's getaway, the “Bothy” is a charming, self-contained ground-floor studio. It features a luxurious super-king bed, a convenient kitchenette, a modern shower room and a wood-burning stove. Outside, you can relax on your own private patio sheltered by a glass canopy.

We cannot wait to welcome you to our B&B in the Scottish Highlands.As locals to the Braemar area, we know just how special this region is and we are thrilled to share it with you. We want you to feel completely at home and relaxed during your time here. We will always endeavour to be readily available to answer any questions you might have, offer recommendations and ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible.Sam is your day-time host, overseeing all housekeeping duties. She has worked in hospitality her whole life, most notably as a chef to the Royal Household.Leo is your night-time concierge, ensuring that all guests arrive safely to Braemar.
